I feel so grateful to be able to do this project, share my story, work with some amazing people who I have painted who are wise, kind and remarkably inspirational. At the end of the day, we are all the same, all of us started from the little room with the curtains closed. Accepting my illness gave me the greatest gift of getting to know myself. And growing up into the person I always aspired to be just never knew how. If all of the participants and I did it, anyone can.
