It was a pleasure for me to participate at Eating Disorders International Conference 2016 organised by B-Eat charity. Taking place at the end of March in London Institute of Education, the conference was busy with professionals from various countries who were keen to hear about newest research and findings within mental health/ eating disorders field.
Starting off with an introduction from Beat’s Chief Executive Andrew Radford, the conference follower with lectures and workshops ranging from reports about costings, neuroscience, various therapy methods, talk with Minister of State for Community and Social Care Alistair Burt and many other topics..
I was showing a selection of paintings and prints from ‘Progress not Perfection’ project that took place in October last year, which received a very positive response from the audience as well as participants.
I was very grateful to be able to attend and I am looking forward to participating in more of those events later on in the year. All the updates will be coming soon.
